MAKE-UP TIPS

HAIR CARE:

Well, make-up is not all about your face. It is not important that only your face looks beautiful. It is very necessary that your presentation is good over all. The hair is considered as the crowning glory of one’s appearance. Even if you have damaged or hair that you think does not look all that good, lake sure you make the best of what you have. Here are a few hair care tips!

1. The most prevalent hair problem would be dandruff. This is indeed a very embarrassing yet common problem for both men and women. Dandruff is nothing but the dead cells from your scalp. All parts of our skin generate dead cells to give way to new skin every twenty eight days, and so does the scalp. The most basic advice would be to wash your hair regularly with a suitable shampoo. When you wash, make sure you rinse your hair twice. This helps to completely remove traces of dandruff. In case of heavy dandruff, here’s a home remedy which provides immediate relief from dandruff. Mix two teaspoons of vinegar with six teaspoons of water and apply to your hair before you go to bed. Repeat the same process in the morning and wash your hair with water. Do not bother about the prevalence of vinegar fragrance on your hair, as it evaporates in a matter of time. This is bound to solve your dandruff problem.
2. To have more shiny and glossy hair, deep condition your hair at least twice a week. Next, use a heat de-activated shampoo and try avoiding excessive use of hair products on your hair. This normally gives your hair a naturally obtained shine.
3. To add more volume to your hair, you can use any volume adding product. But remember the trick behind any volume adding product would be to apply it to the roots of your hair. Then you can finish it by blow drying your hair. This gives your hair perfect volume. But you can also try this without blow drying your hair as blow drying is not all that advisable for hair as it subjects the hair to excessive heat.
4. To give a glam look to dry hair, apply jus two drops of safflower oil to your hair ends and work it up to your scalp. This naturally adds more shine to your dry hair. And it is hardly noticeable. While washing your hair, remember to do a little bit of scrubbing too! Dry hair is due to the lack of essential fatty acids. So make sure you eat a proper diet.
5. For oily hair, it is recommended that you do not wash your hair very often. Use a shampoo with a mild pH balance and apply the conditioner (if you use one) only towards the middle of your strands and not at the ends. Also avoid oily food.
6. How to Wash your Hair the Right Way:

Oiling your hair before a wash is very helpful and nutritional. Try oiling your hair at least once in a week.

Firstly, remember to comb your hair and remove all tangles before going for your wash. This helps preventing hair loss.

Always wash your hair with warm water as it helps to open out the cuticles, thus removing more dirt off your hair while washing. Then, take a dollop of shampoo on your hands, foam it and apply on your scalp and then go down. Avoid shampooing the ends of your hair as this can lead to dry ends. As mentioned above, rinse your hair twice. The first time to wash off all the dirt and chemicals and the second time to help the shampoo treat your hair. Never tangle your hair while washing. Next, apply a little amount of conditioner to your hair and work from the middle of your hair to the ends. The general misconception is to apply conditioner to the roots. But this is a great mistake as it only makes your roots weaker. Another advice is to avoid going in for two in one shampoos or those shampoos with conditioning effect. Wash off with cool water to get an extra shining effect.
